Interesting isn't it. I find I get a lot of pageviews with little comment. But boy when I do I get excited. I like to have folks comment on my blog post, if for no other reason to just know that it was noticed. I try to read up on getting comments and ways to improve. Perfect example is how your post is titled. It ask a question and solicits feedback. From what I gather this is the most important way to receive comments. But I think your right, ppl tend to spend more time on twitter and FB than blog searching.

I guess facebook and twitter are the preferred mediums of the social networking audience ... and since I've been on the internet, I've always found this to be the largest audience of them all. I assume if someone finds your blog posting thru a Google search, they might reply to it here ... but Facebook/Twitter users probably prefer to put their comments somewhere where THEY will see them and your replies ... no?

I don't have facebook, but I do find that feedback comes more through Twitter than through either of my blogs.

I don't know why, but I see a lot of page views and no comments.

Maybe, it is because I try to push information out, rather than try to get information.

Hopefully, someone can explain this phenomenon to us.
