Saddlebrooke Computer Club Presentation

Print Friendly

Welcome Saddlebrooke Computer Club! They are sitting out there watching me give a presentation on blogs as part of the AZACC presentation tour. They are located north of Tuscon AZ. (By the way, the presentation is being done over Skype. Cool, huh?)

One of the things I am demoing to each group is how easy it is to post a new blog post. All I have done is create a post in OneNote and copy the text over to my blog post screen.

One neat thing about this group is that Cathie Harris is a member. Her site, SicilianGirl, is a great place to find recipes. Another member Richard Beaty runs the site Tool, Toys, and Technology – you should check that out too!

When the presentation is all done, I am hoping that one or more of them will comment and let us know what they thought of the presentation.

There were about 60 people in the audience for this session. If you have a blog you want to share with them, feel free to comment below!

Fascinating & informative. I worried a little about a Skype presentation, but Kathy is very good and kept the interest level high. Occasionally the picture stuck and we only heard gibberish from Kathy, but she was very good at repeating what we had missed. She was very good at including audience participation. Our club already teaches a WordPress class and we will probably have to add more classes and maybe we can pick up another instructor from the meeting. I’m the program coordinator for the club.

You always give splendid presentations for the Tucson Computer Society and Im sure all the Saddle Brooker’s were happy to hear you present.

Looking forward to the next one!
